To be eligible for the special agent position, you must:
Be a U.S. citizen.
Be at least 21 years old.
To be a Field Agent, apply before your 36th birthday, unless you have veteran's preference or federal law enforcement experience.*
Possess a valid driver's license.
Have a bachelor's degree or higher in one of the approved major fields of study** or have at least four years of relevant full-time professional work experience.
Meet our physical fitness requirements.
Be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
Meet all other USDAR Eligibility requirements.
*You must complete the SASS process and enter on duty no later than the day before your 37th birthday.
**Approved Major fields of study include: Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Astronomy, Anthropology, Mathematics, Archaeology, Paleontology, Economics, Architecture, Medicine, History, Photography, and dance.
